Chicago Police are investigating after a bullet came through a window into a Humboldt Park home Wednesday night, striking and killing a 7-year-old boy.
The boy's parents decided to pull the plug about 13 hours after the shooting, a family member said.
Police say the boy was found near South Union and Emma Avenue, but they believe the shooting took place a few blocks north.
Investigators have released surveillance video of two vehicles they suspect to be involved in the shooting: A blue pick-up truck and a "possible" red Honda.
