Senior Lyndon Byus hit a go-ahead bucket down low for Luther to set the stage for a crazy final minute. Blair-Taylor would have a runner rim in and out, then Luther would miss the front end of a one-and-one. With another chance to tie, Kyle Steien dribbled into the lane and lost the ball, but Luther’s Isaiah Loersch traveled after he hauled in the loose ball, giving Blair-Taylor one more chance with less than a second to play. ....

Now, they say it’s time to take care of unfinished business. The 17-1 Knights have been on a roll, and it starts on the defensive end. Luther uses an effective press defense to generate a ton of turnovers and lead to fast-break offense. It’s a system coach Schaper says they can hang their hat on, and the players take a lot of pride in being able to execute it so well. ....
