AN ISLE of Wight farm has appealed for information after three of its lambs died following a dog attack. Shorwell's Cheverton Farm has asked people to come forward regarding a dog attack at Signal Hill on Brading Down at around noon today (Wednesday). A spokesperson for the farm said: "Please do not condemn all dog walkers as we are aware that the majority take care when around sheep. ISLAND Roads is preparing for the upcoming cold weather — with gritters taking to Isle of Wight Roads this afternoon. Gritters will be out and about from 4pm today (Wednesday) and again at 5am tomorrow morning as the winter maintenance fleet undertake a series of activities to ensure everything is in working order. The temperature is set to go below zero degrees, with a low of -3c forecast.
