Temperatures set for sub zero — gritters heading out this afternoon
ISLAND Roads is preparing for the upcoming cold weather — with gritters taking to Isle of Wight Roads this afternoon. Gritters will be out and about from 4pm today (Wednesday) and again at 5am tomorrow morning as the winter maintenance fleet undertake a series of activities to ensure everything is in working order. The temperature is set to go below zero degrees, with a low of -3c forecast.
