Bri Ledsome was trying to meet up with a loved one Wednesday night. Instead, her Lyft driver took 60 miles the opposite way into Kentucky.
Bri Ledsome got in a Lyft expecting to travel from Cincinnati to near Canton, Ohio. She noticed her driver traveled into Kentucky instead, going more than an hour in the wrong direction.
Police stopped the van more than 65 miles from the woman’s home, she said, adding that she was further from her intended destination than when the Lyft trip began.
The city has paid a $30,000 settlement to a former aide of Walsh, and the recently appointed council member is now facing an investigation.
