A man claims a Lancaster city police officer — who’s been sued twice in the past several years over excessive force claims —  shot him in the back with a Taser and then falsified a report to justify using the weapon, according to a lawsuit the man filed. Jasper Police say a trio of suspects managed to elude capture following a Sunday night pursuit that reached speeds of 100 miles-per-hour on a rain soaked highway. According to Lieutenant Garrett Foster, Officer Brian Gray attempted to stop a 2006 BMW sedan in north Jasper. However, the driver fled westbound on Farm to Market Road 2800 and then northbound on County Road 120 in the Westlake Community before stopping the car.
