Lansing Police Chief Daryl Green is retiring from the department and is taking another job in law enforcement, according to the city.
In a statement, Green said he’s grateful for the chance to serve Lansing citizens. “I am proud of the reforms the Lansing Police Department completed, and it is time for me to pass the baton to another police chief that will continue this important work of reimagining public safety,” he said.
