Delaware News Journal Sussex County's beaches and inland bays showed visible effects of the winter weather that hit Delaware earlier this week. A drawn-out winter storm that brought much of the Northeast snow was more notable in Sussex County for large waves that left dramatic sand cliffs. At Broadkill Beach, sharp sand cliffs cast a shadow along the beach.
