The pause until June 11 was requested to see what type of state and federal relief funds and programs might be implemented, said Christiaan Cartwright, Rochester’s license examiner. Council member Mark Bransford, who initiated the conversation last month, supported the delay but added that he’s concerned about the fate of businesses if the current fees remain in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic. ....
