Crews respond to Brookfield Square mall for fire in back hallway BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Brookfield Fire Department responded to Brookfield Square on Thursday, December 17 for a fire. Crews got to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. where light smoke was reported coming from a back hallway. Authorities say the fire was contained to the area and put out by the sprinkler system.
