Social distancing and the cancellation of many blood drives has created an urgent need for healthy, eligible people to donate blood. Hinton BUCKHANNON — The Upshur County Commission approved a resolution in support of the Upshur County Development Authority’s application for an Industrial Access Road funding request for property adjacent to the Event Center at Brushy Fork. Rob Hinton, executive director of the UCDA, said the goal is to facilitate an access road there. So far, two businesses plan to locate there.
