Maralinga Community Garden had been allocated the funding as part of the City of Greater Dandenong’s 2020-’21 budget. But the project in Chandler Road Reserve had stalled due to awaiting council approval while the council enacts a community garden policy. May 1, 2021 A Bedford man accused of killing a man in Snake Spring Township on April 24 was taken into custody Friday, Pennsylvania State Police reported. Tico Franklin, 38, was arrested in Baltimore, Md., about 2 p.m., a news release stated. Maryland State Police and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force assisted state troopers in locating and detaining Franklin, the news release stated. After investigating the death of 62-year-old Bryan Hunter, police accused Franklin of shooting and killing the man. Franklin allegedly stole a vehicle and fled the scene, heading toward Maryland. ...
