Apple invents an advanced External Display System for Autonomous Passenger Vehicles that communicates with the public
In 2019 Apple acquired "drive.ai. The company worked autonomous vans. The co-founder and president of the company stated in a 2016 interview that "We need to be able to communicate in all directions, and we need to be able to show intention and have a conversation with the other players on the road - including pedestrians. A new Apple patent advances the display system system that was part of the drive.ai system so that the verbiage and symbols could be viewed, even on a bright sunny day.
