Vernon Parish School Board met at 10:00 this morning. Doug Brandon, Jackie Self, David Detz, Shad Stewart and Lisa Thompson were absent. The Board voted to receive bids for copier paper, they received 8 bids. 1 declined, high bid was $2577/case, low bid was $2310/case. The board voted to accept the low bid. The Board voted to advertise for janitorial & cafeteria supplies and for bread/milk/juice. The Board recognized the LSPA Art Students and District Winners: Brystol Mitchum from Hornbeck Elementary, Bhavi Patel from Leesville Junior High, and Shelby Green from Pickering High School.
