The day started so differently. windy, but quiet. 6:a0am here at the beach in bude. it's high tide right now, and you can see the waves coming up and the sea looking incredibly rough. the wind is absolutely pushing against me, and it's hard sometimes even just to stand up. but the wind is getting even stronger, and suddenly bude doesn't seem quite so calm. just after 9am now, the wind is really picking up. the tiles have been flying off this roof over here, and there's a woman just warning people not to walk on the road. she's called the police. the tiles are coming off the roof. next, eunice ...
