Lion's Club search for a home to store the 'sausage-mobile'

A local Lions Club has a new ‘sausage mobile’ to fundraise across the area, but it needs help to find a location to park it on a shed.
Lennox Head Lions Club (LHLC) recently purchased a state-of-the-art self-contained BBQ trailer, and a towing vehicle.
The equipment was financed via a NSW Government grant, and has been operational since October 2020, a club spokesperson said.
“This equipment has already been put to good use including our annual Australia Day BBQ at Lennox Head and some extremely busy days at Reflections Caravan Park during the busy holiday season. This new equipment is easily managed by our members and greatly assists in further fundraising to assist the community,” the group said in a statement. ....

Lismore Botanic Gardens gets new loo – Echonetdaily

State Member for Lismore, Janelle Saffin, opened new accessible amenities at the Lismore Botanic Gardens visitor centre on Wednesday. The new amenities are a welcome addition to the popular botanic gardens and make them more inclusive than ever before.
The project received $25, 000 from the 20 – electorate wide 2019 Community Building Partnership Program and will give the gardens the ability to cater for larger groups of visitors.
Different aspects of the community came together and volunteered their time to get the project completed.
‘I knew how popular the botanic gardens are with locals and visitors alike, and how hard the Friends of the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens Incorporated (FLRBG) work in a volunteer capacity to keep them looking good and to ensure a sensory and educational experience for all,’ Ms Saffin said. ....
