Ford is expanding its popular Bronco Off-Roadeo experience, creating a different one to teach buyers of new Bronco Raptors just how to drive like the Baja racers that inspired its creation. Go to TheDetroitBureau.com.
From the early days of racing, Ford has used racing to improve its products. Brakes, for instance, are advanced by huge leaps thanks to racing through shoes and drums to discs. Tire tech, too, developed thanks to racing and events like the King of the Hammers where Ford pushes and refines products like the Bronco.
Taking part in this year's 2022 Rebelle Rally, Ford Motor scored the rally's first ever three-peat in the X-Cross class. Ford fielded three factory teams and there were other independents, as well, in the all-women's desert rally that covered 1,600 miles out west. This was the seventh edition.
For the seventh year, 110 women will take part in the 2022 1,600-mile Rebelle Rally that pits two-person teams against not only each other but some of the worst off-road trekking around.
