Navigating the new National Bus Strategy The new National Bus Strategy launched by the Prime Minister on 15 March is an opportunity to transform local bus services. For local authorities with transport responsibilities, however, it brings with it a host of new requirements and relatively little time in which to meet them. Covid: Buses in England to return to pre-pandemic levels as lockdown eases, says industry group Published Bus services in England should return to pre-pandemic levels by Monday, according to industry body CPT. CPT, which represents the bus and coach sector, said passenger levels were at about 40% just before Easter.
