NYSDOT announces another I-81 viaduct project ramp closure in Syracuse

SYRACUSE. N.Y. — The ramp from Interstate 481 (I-481) southbound to Interstate 81 (I-81) southbound in the city of Syracuse will close at 9.a.m. on Sept. 25.
A Pacific man was arrested Sept. 10 for an alleged DWI following a crash at Business Loop 44 and Jensen’s Point Overlook in St. Louis County.
Maintenance is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15.
Construction on the four-phase project is slated to begin in 2027.
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) plans to close the exit ramp along Interstate 81 (I-81) south to Interstate 481 north at around 9 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 11.
