i think it is not nearly as good in my view as the corporate side. it is kind of a hash. i think that s right. no cut in the top rate except a minor one in the senate. i think in your economic research you talk about rate cuts especially at the higher level. really given the economic bang for the buck. there is very little of that here. indeed, the inhouse one goes the wrong way. there is a phaseout at a 12 percent bracket. it gives a 45 percent marginal rate. that is going the wrong direction. the senate goes the right direction but not very far. the estate ttaxes a mismatch i both bills. i think the individual side turns out to be pretty much a wash at best. as i mentioned, the court elements are business tax reforms. those get the us back into the 21st century. they can do better on the individual side. ....
