Nigeria Anti-Corruption Body, EFCC Defies Court Order, Refuses To Pay N3Million Awarded To Man Illegally Arrested, Detained In Rivers
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been accused of failing to comply with a judgement given by Rivers State High Court in March 2022 regarding the arrest and detention of one Allen Chibuzor for three days. Speaking with SaharaReporters, Allen said he was arrested by EFCC personnel when the agency was investigating his employer, Cafint Resources Limited, in August 2021.
