OTTAWA -- The Ontario Public Service Employees Union is calling on the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre to fire a manager after allegations they travelled abroad over the holidays. In a statement Friday evening, OPSEU says President Warren (Smokey) Thomas raised the union members concerns in a letter to Royal Ottawa President/CEO Joanne Bezzubetz, that a manager defied public health rules and Premier Doug Ford's plea to avoid unnecessary travel.
