SAN FRANCISCO – Cal women's basketball freshman guard Jayda Curry has been named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the third consecutive week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Curry becomes just the fifth player since the award was created in 2012-13 to win it three consecutive weeks. Curry joins Washington State's Charlisse Leger-Walker (2020-21), former Golden Bear Kristine Anigwe (2015-16), Oregon's Maite Cazorla (2015-16), and Washington's Kelsey Plum (2013-14) as the other players who have won the award three-consecutive weeks.
