Winter storm watch A winter storm watch begins Thursday evening and lasts through Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service in Buffalo reported. The watch includes Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Erie, Genesee and Wyoming counties. Total snow accumulations of more than 9 inches possible in the most persistent lake snows.
