good morning. good afternoon. this morning, as captain gibbs stated, there was a car accident. we had two vehicles that were trailed in the parade today. they immediately began providing medical emergency response to those injured in the incident. additionally triage and our staging to make rapid transport for those who were injured as well as hospitals outside of stillwater by air ambulance. that s really all the facts that stillwater fire department has at this time. i think mayor nobels has a few statements. hi, i m gina nobel, stillwater mayor. i just want to say we are heart broken at this tragedy and our ....
There. obviously dealing with the mass casually event. and then aerial pictures of what may have been the scene itself. towards what looks like the football stadium. all the way at the end of that street. there was supposed to be a football game there. the homecoming game. oklahoma state cowboys take on the kansas jayhawks at 3:30 eastern. what s going to happen with that game, we don t know. we do know there is going to be a press conference there in stillwater in the coming minutes or hours. unclear what, as this is a very fluid situation. in fact, we saw oklahoma state sent out a tweet earlier, after this had happened. said the university is saddened by the tragic parade incident earlier this morning. our thoughts and prayers are with those affected. obviously, a very fluid situation. is up a sad situation on a day that was supposed to be nothing but happiness. as you can look at that picture. a perfect college football saturday for a homecoming ....
Hospitals. and it was like she said, men, women and children of all ages victims obviously completely unsuspecting of the vehicle coming up. we re looking at live pictures coming in there from stillwater, oklahoma. these now we re being told are on tape pictures from actually the accident scene itself. and police have a long investigation to go. they re asking for witnesses to come forward, anybody who has video to come forward. but interestingly enough, they you must have seen something very clear about this 25-year-old driver that led them to believe that she was intoxicated. they ended up giving her a mandatory blood test from there and we ll see what the rut he r of those are. should be a couple of days. they say they are treating this as a homicide investigation. we want to bring in rick maroni on the phone, he was in stillwater for the homecoming ....
