A new partnership between a Camden nonprofit and the rideshare service Uber will enable city residents who lack access to transportation to get COVID-19 vaccines. Uber will send Cooper's Ferry Partnership 3,000 ride codes, valued at $30 each, said Cooper's Ferry CEO Kris Kolluri on Wednesday. The codes would be redeemable through September. "That's no small number," said Kolluri of the $90,000 Uber has pledged. "We are so excited about this." As of Wednesday, Camden had 9,546 cases of COVID-19, by far the highest number of cases in Camden County. On Monday, N.J. Gov. Phil Murphy said every resident in the state over the age of 16 is eligible for vaccinations.
