Posted on Trusted sources are claiming that Sony will announce a new RX camera with the world’s first Full frame curved sensor on Tuesday (January 26th). And this camera will feature a lens that is faster than the Sony RX1R II (which has a Zeiss 35mm f/2.0 lens). Several days ago Sony Japan released a teaser for a new product announcement “The one never seen”, which will be held on January 26th, 2021 at 10:00am EST. In addition to the new Sony RX camera, Sony is also expected to announce highly anticipated mirrorless camera (Sony a9 III) on January 26, 2021.

Posted on Nikon Japan is now listing the Nikon D5600 and D3500 DSLR cameras as “old products” which means that these two models are already discontinued. According to Digicame-info, the Nikon D5600 was the number one camera in the SLR category of the BCN ranking last year, and it is still available at Amazon, B&H, Adorama. I just wonder if there is a new entry-level DSLR camera coming to update the D5600 / D3500, or if an entry-level Nikon Z30 model will be announced in the near future.

Posted on Canon Japan has released a teaser for an 8K EOS Cinema camera, which is expected to be announced in 2021 along with another 8K Cinema EOS camera. We already reported that Canon is currently working on two new 8K Cinema EOS cameras. One will be a flagship camera with “A camera” aspirations, just like the the Canon Cinema EOS C700, while the other is a modular camera with the similar positioning to the Cinema EOS C300 Mark III and Cinema EOS C500 Mark II. The two Canon 8K Cinema EOS cameras are expected to be announced around the NAB 2021 in April.
