Clark Public Utilities has launched a new assistance program for customers who suffered income or job loss as a result of the pandemic and have outstanding utility bills.
This month, Clark Public Utilities doled out $3.4 million to customers financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic who are 30 days or more past due on their utility payments.
Clark Public Utilities will open a new assistance program Monday for families struggling to pay their electric bills. The program will distribute $5 million of relief until the funds are all given away or until March 15, 2022.
