Dillon Daniel Downey, 19, of Metamora, was arraigned Wednesday, Feb. 3 in Lapeer County District Court on one count of manslaughter without malice, a 15-year felony, and one count of felony firearm. The charges are related to the shooting death of 18-year-old Kaden James Ryan, Metamora Township Police Chief David Mallett said.
