Camp "Send A Kid" allows kids to experience rite of passage
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Camp Decorah gave kids an opportunity to take part in a rite of passage. Its “Send A Kid” program gives area children, who don’t have the means or opportunity to experience other summer programs, a week at camp. Friday’s activities included shooting BB guns and crafting. Over the week, kids also tried their hand at archery and tomahawk throwing with Kicking Bear. Wiscorp is also involved in the camp and helped educate campers about the outdoors.
