A recent study conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) reveals that the cost of cancer treatment during outpatient visits is much higher than during hospitalization. The study surveyed 9,787 patients across seven cancer centers in India and found that diagnostics accounted for 36.4% of total expenditure, with medicines making up an additional 28%. ....
