U.S. Major General Gregory Anderson, Commanding General, 10th Mountain Division, and Brigadier General Patrick Ellis, U.S. Army Europe and Africa Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations will join U.S. Ambassador Kristina Kvien to observe the Eagle Partner exercise at the Zar Training Area, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia announced Friday.
The US Army said in a press release that some 85 US troops will train with 175 Armenian soldiers next week as part of the Eagle Partner joint military exercise.
According to the statement, the purpose of the exercise is "to increase the level of interoperability of the unit participating in international peacekeeping missions"
