As some of you may be aware, the department of defense released a statement earlier today regarding support to the department of Homeland Security, which ill reiterate here from the podium at the request of the department of Homeland Security secretary austin approved a temporary department of defense increase of an additional 1500 military personnel to supplement us customs and Border Protection efforts on the us southwest border for 90 days.
