According to the TOPHOTELPROJECTS construction database, 81 hotel schemes are currently on the cards across the Emerald Isle, with Dublin accounting for three-quarters of the total.

Ireland’s hotel openings by year
2021 is shaping up to be a rather busy year, with 37 properties and 6,357 rooms due for completion. Ten of these hotels are already in the pre-opening phase.
Things will slow down in 2022, with only 11 hotels and 1,772 keys slated to open, while 2023 will be quieter still – just eight projects and 1,104 rooms are in the pipeline at present. Another 25 hotels and 3,361 keys are in the works for 2024 and beyond.
