Florida A&M University (FAMU) signed a $97.5 million 30-year federal loan to finance construction of a new 700-bed student residence hall.
The Florida Board of Governors (FBOG) approved Florida A&M University’s (FAMU) proposal
The project is the first of several residence halls included in the University’s master plan that calls for up to 4,000 on-campus beds in the coming years.
The FAMU proposal lays out three projects for student housing — a 500-bed residence hall, a 700-bed residence hall and an 800-bed apartment complex.
