Greetings from Capps. We had about 1.2 inches of much-needed rain last Tuesday night with more in the forecast. I'm grateful that Fall came a bit early this year. It makes doing outside work more pleasant. This is a good time to burn brush and clean up before it gets windy, it's also great weather for transplanting trees and shrubs cole crops. I've got a few loblolly pines to get in the ground as well as some roses and peonies.
