First, around 3:20 p.m. they were called to a chicken house heavily involved in fire. Barrow County fire department had a busy holiday week as they assisted with multiple different fires in only a few days. Most recently, two separate fires – a house fire and a barn fire - kept Barrow County fire department busy Sunday morning. The house fire on Lockwalde Lane started outside the home and damaged the siding and frame. Then, later in the morning, a barn fire on Glass Road endangered chickens being housed there.
