MADISON - Nearly 500 Madison residents will have a bountiful holiday season this year thanks to the generosity of neighbors and the dedication of a dozen volunteers with the Madison
Madison Eagle Christmas Fund broadly this year.
On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Stacey Smollen, co-chair of MECF, accepted a $300 donation from Madison heART art classes and the East Coast Elf Conference 2020. Smollen says she was honored to receive the check directly from one of the elves.
Then, on Nov. 27, âCrafted of Madisonâ, a craft studio for creative kids, organized an outdoor event in support of the MECF. Children and their families set out blankets on a warm winterâs day to make festive holiday ornaments. Crafted designed and supplied the makings of these ornaments, and ensured a portion of the proceeds went to support the MECF.
