Essential caregivers to return to LTC homes in Bruce County

The County of Bruce are resuming their Essential Caregiver Program at their two long term care facilities. Starting on Friday, essential caregivers will be allowed to visit residents at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton and Gateway Haven in Wiarton subject to meeting COVID-19 guidelines. The program was suspended on December 26th when the Province ordered a shutdown of all non-essential services. In preparation for the return, on-site testing was done for essential caregivers on Tuesday in Walkerton and there will be one in Wiarton on Wednesday. JEFFERSON CITY – On the behalf of the commission of the Missouri Veterans Commission, chairman Timothy Noonan today released the full 415-page independent, external investigation report into the Missouri Veterans Commission’s response to COVID-19.
