Uniindia: Kolkata, May 9 (UNI) Underlining the need for a strong infrastructure in the border areas, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the second Cargo Gate of the Land Port Authority of India and inaugurated a slew of development projects of the Land Port Authority of India and Border Security Force (BSF) at Integrated-Check Post Petrapole in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district at the India-Bangladesh border.

Union Home Minister is on his day-long visit to West Bengal. He earlier paid his tributes to Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary and visited Jorasanko Thakurbari, Kolkata.
