Rather than choosing just one Teacher of the Year, Detroit Lakes Public Schools' faculty decided to honor one teacher at each of its six buildings with the Michelle Harris Teacher of the Year Award.
Rossman Elementary School fifth grade teacher Mindy Nielsen has been chosen as 2022 Teacher of the Year for Detroit Lakes Public Schools. A ceremony to honor the six finalists and select this year's winner was held at the Holiday Inn Lakefront on Tuesday, March 22.
