SHARE ON: The Manitoulin OPP is continuing its search for a man considered armed and dangerous. OPP Sergeant Carlo Berardi says early Saturday morning, an alert was sent out via phone and email about a lockdown in M’Chigeeng First Nation, Spring Bay and the Highway 551 vicinity on Manitoulin Island. The alert asked residents to stay inside and lock their doors while police searched for a wanted man. Berardi says the search for 32-year-old Victor Branco continued throughout the weekend following an alleged incident earlier that day. Berardi did not provide any details but says Branco has yet to be apprehended. ....
