Facebook fundraising gigs to be held for Glasgow's Carlton Studios
Carlton Studios MUSICIANS are throwing their support behind a campaign to save one of Glasgow's most influential institutions with a series of online concerts. Established in 1990, Carlton Studios is one of Glasgow’s longest surviving music studios but it needs to raise £30,000 to cover day-to-day expenses in order to secure its future. To stave off its threatened closure, the studio will be offering a livestream gig featuring a different local band or solo artist on Facebook every Saturday from 8pm until until the end of February.
