Major escalation. certainly not of the thought that we haven't seen since 2006 and israel would much rather deal with palestinian militants in southern lebanon and hezbollah as well because hezbollah, of course, is much more heavily armed than hamas in the gaza strip and would make any conflagration that much more serious, but we've heard calls the com from the united nations from the government of lebanon as well, saying that it's clean or maintaining calm and stability. on the border with israel, but i think it would be incredibly surprising if israel does not retaliate in some shape or form...
