Free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors available Ruidoso News Reports The Community Foundation of Lincoln County, a not-for-profit organization based in Ruidoso, awarded a grant allowing Carrizozo Works, Inc., a Carrizozo not-for-profit, to purchase 51 combination carbon monoxide/smoke detectors and batteries for Carrizozo residents who do not already have detectors and who use gas, pellet or wood stoves in their homes.
