At the ArenaBowl last season, our own Tim Capper asked the famed Aaron Garcia whether he was going to kiss the Orlando Predators goodbye right after the announcement that the Los Angeles KISS were the newest AFL team. Not only has Garcia kissed the Predators goodbye, but he did so with the Jacksonville Sharks as well. The all-time leading passer in AFL history has been traded for the second time this season, as he was shipped to the KISS on Monday as a part of a bevy of moves which shuffled quarterbacks throughout the league.

The concerns revolving around the ownership of the Chicago Rush have certainly been no secret this season. The team was purchased during the off-season from the Arena Football League. To put it in a very simple statement, the new owner did not meet the requirements of the league and the relationship was broken and it was uncertain as to whether a team would take the field for the season.

The Arena Football League is ready for the stretch run to the end of the season. Everyone had last week off over the Fourth of July holiday so all twelve teams should be rested and ready to rock over the final five weeks in the season.

HONOLULU - I'll be the first to admit that I thought the 2013 AFL China All-Star Games were going to be relatively lousily played games where there would be a bunch of sloppy defense, hardly any hitting, and a lot of half-hearted football. However, what we got on Saturday night at Blaisdell Arena was really none of that, as the 39 players that were on the field were all going for it. There were some big defensive plays, some big special teams plays, some quirky plays that you would never see in any other league but this one, and of course, 130 points on the board.
