A federal magistrate judge on Monday withheld an immediate ruling on the fate of a 31-year-old Knoxville man accused of serving as an interpreter and media representative for ISIS. Benjamin Alan Carpenter, who also uses the name Abu Hamza, was arrested last week on a federal charge of attempting to provide material support and resources to the terror group.
