The Manning Fire and Rescue Department is making a change to their annual New Year’s Eve drive-thru fundraiser and will now direct the money raised to support a benefit fund set up for the family of one of their own. Fifteen-year-old Max Sanford, the son of firefighter Brett Sanford and his wife Kasie, died from injuries sustained in a car accident last Thursday near Manning.
