There will be a blanket of cloud for much of the uk, a few holes in that cloud, but temperatures generally staying in double figures in our towns and cities. perhaps a little bit lower than this in the countryside. but the weekend, then, very much donated by high pressure still. it will start to just change its position a little bit, drifting off towards the east somewhat, but saturday, again most places looking dry. there is going to be a little bit of rain in the forecast at times through the course of the weekend, but most places will avoid it. and you will notice that the temperatures will...
Downpours are not moving too quickly on the breeze. there is an amber warning over parts of scotland for the thunderstorms, bringing torrential, slow—moving downpours. flooding and disruption is likely across the region. and it's notjust across the region. and it's notjust across scotland that we are seeing heavy showers. if you do catch one, it could bring hale an intense flooding rainfall. temperatures for most of us and or 22 degrees. those showers are going to continue to be a problem across scotland and north—west england through this evening and overnight. elsewhere, they tend to fad...
North—east england as well. into saturday evening, we keep that threat of heavy showers and thunderstorms going on across some southern and south—eastern parts of england. they should ease a little bit overnight. many places starting sunday morning on a dry note and temperatures a little bit fresher overnight than they've been recently, between about 12 to perhaps 16 degrees or so. now, through the second half of the weekend, then, low pressure still not far away. it's just starting to drift its way a little bit further eastwards, so that's going to bring another day of fairly heavy shower...
Hit—and—miss heavy showers. into monday, and another day of a few showers around across southern parts of england and wales and if you do catch one, it could be heavy and thundery as well. but i think much of the uk seeing again some spells of sunshine and largely dry conditions with temperatures about 20—211 degrees on monday. into the working week, it does remain pretty unsettled. more showers in the outlook, as you can see, but turning a little bit drierfurther south across the uk. bye— bye.
