WARREN Mary Jane “Buppa” Enterline Smith, 94, passed away peacefully holding her daughter’s hand on Saturday evening, Dec. 19, 2020, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Mary Jane was born in Sprankle Mills, Pa., on Dec. 24, 1925. She will now be celebrating her 95th birthday in heaven this Christmas Eve.
Mary Jane was the daughter of Powell Enterline and Geneva Stiver Enterline. She grew up in Punxsutawney, Pa., where she met the love of her life, the late Warren J. Smith. Warren and Mary Jane were wed on June 30, 1943 and enjoyed 65 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2008. They were devoted, loving parents to one daughter, Susie, and joyfully spent time with their two beloved granddaughters, Megan and Laura. They embraced their son-in-law, Mike, into the family as the son they never had. She dedicated her life to her family. ....
